There's only one way to find out if cosmetic surgery is right for you. You need to have a consultation with a surgeon. It sounds intimidating, but it's not. In fact, it's easy.

During your initial consultation visit, and prior to seeing your surgeon, you will meet with your cosmetic surgery counselor. Your personal cosmetic surgery counselor is highly qualified through extensive training and practical experience to give you a basic orientation about the cosmetic surgery procedure that most interests you.

Your counselor's first responsibility is to help you become familiar with your planned procedure and to prepare you to meet the surgeon who will perform your operation. This will enable you to discuss your procedure with a better understanding and know exactly which questions to ask.
At AesthetiCare, your surgeon will listen to what you want, examine you and tell you then and there if surgery is right for you. He will also tell you everything you need to know about the procedure you're interested in, how it's performed, what results you can expect, how long they'll last and how long recovery will take. You will also learn about the risks and possible complications that may be involved.

After your surgeon has seen you and answered all your questions, he will instruct your counselor to schedule your surgery date. She will arrange for your laboratory tests, handle your paperwork and set up any other appointments that may be necessary.

Standards of care, costs, medical policies and procedures established by your surgeon will be thoroughly explained to you. Your counselor will also show you numerous before and after color photographs of your surgeon's actual patients. During this time, your counselor will answer any further questions.

From this point on, and through your recovery period, your personal counselor becomes one of the most helpful members of your cosmetic surgery team. Assisting you each step of the way with her in-depth understanding, caring, reassurance, information and guidance.

Cosmetic surgery is a big decision. Your AesthetiCare surgeon and his staff will do everything they can to make sure it's the right decision for you.
