A few weeks ago, there were some new photos of Fergie, celebrating her birthday in Las Vegas. It seemed like Fergie had purchased herself a new face for her birthday, although her husband Josh Duhamel claimed that her drastically new look was the result of “new lipstick.” Ha! Anyway, these are some photos of Fergie and Josh at a benefit for the Red Cross. Fergie’s face is still looking… different. But she looks good, I’m not saying that. I’d even dare to say that Fergie got a appropriate work done – she doesn’t look scary and frozen-faced, she just looks “refreshed” and “younger”.
As for what Fergie may or may not have gotten done, Star Magazine got some plastic surgeons to talk about what they think might have happened. According to one, Fergie has had an estimated $30,000 plastic surgery makeover. NYC plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Schwartz (who doesn’t treat Fergie) claims that she’s had a brow lift, eyelid lift and filler in her cheeks: “Fergie’s forehead looks tighter, her jaw line is sharper, she looks fresh-faced and years younger because her skin is so taut and smooth, and it creates a well-rested look.” Another plastic surgeon suggests that Fergie has gotten Botox injections in her eyebrows, and thinks she also got a chemical peel. By the way, I don’t know who designed Fergie’s dress, but it’s cute. Paris Hilton was also at this event (I don’t care enough to put photos up of her), and she was wearing a ball gown. Sofia Vergara Says Her Ridiculous Boobs Helped Her Career
Sofia Vergara’s career has skyrocketed since Modern Family took over TV. In the October 2010 issue of Self, Sofia says she credits her “ridiculous boobs” for her career boost.
The 38-year-old actress has made her mark on Hollywood with the help of her voluptuous body. But she has had some help in the form of hair dye.

“I’m a natural blonde,” Sofia explains in the new issue of Self. “But when I started acting, I would go to auditions and they didn’t know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent — but I had blonde hair.”
“It was ignorance: They thought every Latin person looks like Salma Hayek. The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was, ‘Oh, she’s the hot Latin girl.’ I loved it,” she says. “I’d always felt a little ‘too much’ as a blonde, like a big-mouth version of Pamela Anderson. Being brunette toned me down a bit.”

Toning down her look is what Sofia was looking for even as a young teen, but Sofia was grateful for her assets in the end.
“When I was 13, I got these ridiculous boobs. I wanted surgery,” Sofia shares. “I told my mom, ‘As soon as I’m older, please take these boobs away.’ She said, ‘Sofía, shut up. When you’re 18, it will be different.’ I was like, ‘Why would I want these huge t—? I’m a 34DD.’”
“It’s hard to dress. No matter what I wear, I look like a stripper,” she adds. “That said, I’m grateful I have them, and honestly, they’ve helped me a lot in my career. And I’ve always felt sexy.”

Venezuelan politician offers breast implants as raffle prize to raise election funds
A Venezuelan politician is offering breast implants as a prize in a raffle to raise funds for his election campaign, according to reports.

“There are critics but also some people think it’s a nice idea,” said Gustavo Rojas, an opposition candidate for a National Assembly position.
Cosmetic surgery, especially breast enlargement, is widespread in image-conscious Venezuela, whose beauty queens have won numerous international pageant titles.
Even a recession has not diminished Venezuelans’ appetite for cosmetic surgery with many people taking out loans for the surgery.
Mr Rojas, of the opposition First Justice party, told El Universal newspaper that he was not too worried about the medical details of his offer.
“The raffle is a financing mechanism, nothing else,” he told the newspaper. “It’s the doctor who will do the operation, not me.”
Venezuelans vote on Sept 26 for a new parliament.
The country’s president, Hugo Chavez, on Friday denied rumours that he was suffering from cancer.
Local media reports had claimed that the 56-year-old was suffering from cancer in the nasal cavity.
His failure to appear on Wednesday’s first day of campaigning for the parliamentary elections fuelled the speculation, although it later transpired that Mr Chavez had been holding a lengthy meeting with his mentor, Fidel Castro, in Cuba.
Mr Chavez, who has inherited Castro’s mantle as Latin America’s leading critic of the United States, took power in 1999 and plans to run again for the presidency in 2012.
