Jessica Simpson “Pregnancy Weight” Controversy

If there’s one celebrity who is famous for her weight fluctuations it would be no other than the Daisy Dukes star Jessica Simpson. A talented singer with an extra ordinary voice, a multi-millionaire in fashion industry and an actress as well, Jessica has been attack lately about her weight. With so many reality stars posting their bikini bodies after baby, the pressure is on as soon as Jessica gave birth to her first baby girl. The Hollywood scene these days of weight and staying skinny is probably the shallowest thing ever. People and the media are calling her names, bashing her over forums and blog sites making it a big controversy.

So why do celebrities become the center of attention over their weight? Well, as we all know Jessica used to have a fit, rocking body during her “Daisy Dukes” days. Who can ever forget her rocking those cowboy boots and perfectly toned abs & legs with a platinum blonde hair? From being fit to being chubby, people don’t seem to understand how hard it is for us women to maintain our weight. One of the factors that Jessica is under the limelight over her weight is her contract with “Weight Watchers” in which she was reportedly paid a big fat pay check!, let’s just say; a whooping “3$ million dollars” to lose weight. Seriously? Oh well, yeah of course you are going to be in the center of attention as the world is now watching how she loses the weight. 

The only problem is and in my own opinion, I don’t think she look as great as the world expected her to be. She was reportedly lost about 60 pounds over 6 months. And honestly, I don’t  think that she lost the weight just specifically through weight watchers I am sure, she’s been working out long hours and perhaps maybe some plastic surgery to help her loose the weight. With 3 million dollars under her belt and millions of people watching, I am sure the pressure isn’t going anywhere. During her pregnancy Jessica was reportedly, eating everything she can from deep fried, fast food and basically all things she was craving for which is typically normal when you’re pregnant. It was a free pass for her to eat whatever she wants. As a result, she gained so much weight during her pregnancy. I have seen her weight watchers commercial, and it was disappointing as she was just sitting down in a black outfit, she wasn’t proving anything that she lost the weight. The point is, we do not care about her weight, what we care is to see the results because of her weight watchers contract, lol which obviously failed! Now her face is everywhere telling her side of story how she lost 60 pounds in 6 months! And in my honest opinion she doesn’t seemed she lost that much weight in my eyes! Just saying! She did lose some weight though, but not as fabulous as we thought she would look like to be. Her black dress and spanks giving her the illusion to look slimmer, is a big BS. Sorry! 

Overall, people should stop judging others, especially when it comes to weight. It’s a personal thing, whether skinny or curvy everyone deserves a chance to be confident with who they are. If you are pregnant, just think about that this time, there’s two of you eating the nutrition, eat healthy for you and your baby to nourish your body, go walking, exercise and Yes! Giving in to your craving isn’t a crime. Remember that, the most important thing when being pregnant is to enjoy the experience, a once in a lifetime moment. I was browsing my instagram account few days ago when I learned the news, btw, I’m a follower of Kim Kardashian, on instagram so when people learned that she is pregnant, so many followers have been saying mean things/ comments about her pregnancy. One thing that get to me was when someone called her “she can’t wait for her to be fat”. Oh seriously that just annoyed me for some reason. I’m not a big fan of Kim, but let’s admit it she is “gorgeous” and there’s no secret about it. Kim has amazing body which she worked hard for and through diet and exercise she maintained it. As we all know Kim has been under the radar and controversy that she had many plastic surgery procedures and liposuction is one of them. Though Kim, has been denying all this allegations.
