You’d think stars could afford the best plastic surgery, but many of them seem to be competing to look the worst.

Katy Perry recently did a photo shoot for hair product company ghd’s new campaign. The shoot was creatively conceived with Katy Perry’s stylist Johnny Wujek. Newly-released images of the pop star, by renowned photographer David LaChapelle, show her at the pool on a inflatable mattress, lounging on a bed, a chaise lounge.

Mandy Moore has denied that she had a nose surgery, but the rumors say that she had some plastic surgery done sometime in early 2000. 

If you look at earlier photos from when she was a famous singing her nose does look different than it does now.  With the pictures we can’t say that she had Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery).  In some photos when she was younger, her nose looks wider and the tip more rounded, but this can be the result of many things, growth, picture angle, etc.  Needless to say she looks great either way and we look forward to more of her in tht near future.

A few weeks ago, there were some new photos of Fergie, celebrating her birthday in Las Vegas. It seemed like Fergie had purchased herself a new face for her birthday, although her husband Josh Duhamel claimed that her drastically new look was the result of “new lipstick.” Ha! Anyway, these are some photos of Fergie and Josh at a benefit for the Red Cross. Fergie’s face is still looking… different. But she looks good, I’m not saying that. I’d even dare to say that Fergie got a appropriate work done – she doesn’t look scary and frozen-faced, she just looks “refreshed” and “younger”.

As for what Fergie may or may not have gotten done, Star Magazine got some plastic surgeons to talk about what they think might have happened. According to one, Fergie has had an estimated $30,000 plastic surgery makeover. NYC plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Schwartz (who doesn’t treat Fergie) claims that she’s had a brow lift, eyelid lift and filler in her cheeks: “Fergie’s forehead looks tighter, her jaw line is sharper, she looks fresh-faced and years younger because her skin is so taut and smooth, and it creates a well-rested look.” Another plastic surgeon suggests that Fergie has gotten Botox injections in her eyebrows, and thinks she also got a chemical peel. By the way, I don’t know who designed Fergie’s dress, but it’s cute. Paris Hilton was also at this event (I don’t care enough to put photos up of her), and she was wearing a ball gown. Tameka Foster Raymond On Her Plastic Surgery Nightmare: ‘I Made A Really Dumb Decision

Back in February 2009 Usher canceled his performance at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Gala to be at the side of his estranged wife at the time Tameka Foster Raymond after she suffered life threatening complications from plastic surgery in Brazil. In the April 2011 issue of Sister 2 Sister the single mother of five handsome boys reveals in detail how a hasty “dumb” decision resulted in her going into cardiac arrest before the liposuction procedure on her stomach could get underway. “I had a Brazilian nanny. It was her son’s birthday. She was very sad she couldn’t go and see him for his birthday. The tickets are very expensive to go. I had a little slight attitude, and I was like, ‘You want to go to Brazil? We’re gonna go.’ It was one of those Waiting To Exhale moments. You know how women do that? And when I got there, I started seeing all those pretty people walking around. And I was like ‘Dang!’ And my nanny was formerly a nurse there and she said, ‘Oh yeah, its popular here and inexpensive.” “She was even telling me how people would get it and they would snap back so fast. And I just had a little pooch. I’ve always been a person who has been into my body and staying fit. And I had a baby, like, three months earlier. And I’m not going to lie, I was mad at my husband at the time so I thought, ‘Let’s take a trip.’” “So I took my sister. I took my nanny. And I took my assistant. And everybody was shocked, like, ‘Vacation?’ I was like ‘Yep. I’m going to Brazil.’ And I had never been before and it was beautiful. The weather was hot, So me, I was just trying to be spontaneous. I sent the children to him with another nanny and assistant. I was like, ‘You deal with them.’ You know? ‘You want to be M.I.A. for the most part? You deal with them.’ And when I got there I made a really dumb decision. It was dumb, because it wasn’t nothing a few crunches and another month wouldn’t have gotten off. I never had the surgery. I ended up going into cardiac arrest while I was getting anesthesia.”
